Life holds countless options and possibilities. Sometimes course changes are thrust upon you without a choice or a vote of approval. But, sometimes you steer your own life into the strange and unknown. This is where our adventure begins: BYU-Idaho travel programs and just traveling in general. The university offers students the chance to tour countries all over the world and in the States. BYU-I has themed tours in the United States, including: Mormon American Travel Study, Urban Studies, Horseback Discovery Tour, Lewis & Clark Tour and a Natural Science Field Expedition. The foreign programs are the British Literary Tour, European Religious History Tour, Humanities European Tour, Meso-American Tour and the BYU Jerusalem Center.
There are more alternative programs affiliated with BYU-I (and BYU in Provo) that students can take on. Through BYU, there are 158 programs in 58 countries available, giving BYU the 17th largest study abroad program in the nation.
This blog is dedicated to exploring the benefits, struggles, and experiences of these travel programs, because, in short, adventure is out there!
